La World Press Photo Foundation è un'organizzazione indipendente senza scopo di lucro con sede ad Amsterdam, Paesi Bassi. Fondata nel 1955, l'organizzazione organizza il concorso annuale World Press Photo per la fotografia giornalistica. Dal 2011, World Press Photo organizza un concorso annuale separato per produzioni multimediali giornalistiche e, in collaborazione con Human Rights Watch, il premio annuale Tim Hetherington.
