Parchi Industriali in Etiopia: opportunita' per investitori internazionali
Roma, 22 Maggio 2017 - Nell’ambito del supporto che UNIDO sta fornendo al governo etiope per la costituzione dei Parchi agro-industriali, è stata organizzata una tavola rotonda presso lo studio Bonelli Erede, finalizzata a far conoscere alle aziende italiane intervenute le opportunità di investimento esistenti in Etiopia, in particolare legate ai Parchi. Anche ITPO Italy ha preso parte alla tavola rotonda, considerato il notevole supporto fornito nella costituzione della delegazione italiana che ha partecipato al primo forum sugli investimenti nell’agro-industria, organizzato ad Addis Abeba nell’ottobre 2016. Il Forum ha infatti costituito occasione per presentare ufficialmente il progetto dei Parchi agro-industriali, 4 aree ben definite che ottimizzeranno la trasformazione dei prodotti agricoli, sfruttando economie di scala e tecnologie all’avanguardia.
La tavola rotonda è stata arricchita dalla presenze dello State Minister of Industry, H.E. Mebrahtu Meles, che ha sottolineato le enormi opportunità e agevolazioni per le aziende che intendano investire nei Parchi. ITPO Italy seguirà da vicino le evoluzioni dell’incontro, allo scopo di coordinare eventuali manifestazioni di interesse da parte di investitori italiani.

Rome, May 22nd 2017 - As part of UNIDO's support to the Ethiopian Government for the establishment of Agro-Industrial Parks, a roundtable aimed at informing Italian companies of the existing investment opportunities in Ethiopia, with a focus on those related to the Parks, was held at the BonelliErede’s offices. ITPO Italy, among others, took part in the roundtable, given the considerable support it has provided in the setting up of the Italian delegation, which participated in the first forum on investments in agro-industry, organized in Addis Ababa in October 2016. The Forum has indeed given the opportunity to officially present the Agro-Industrial Parks project, which envisages 4 well-defined areas that will optimize the processing of agricultural products, exploiting economies of scale and state-of-the-art technologies.
The roundtable was marked by the presence of the State Minister of Industry, H.E. Mebrahtu Meles, who underlined the enormous opportunities and incentives for companies that intend to invest in the Parks.
ITPO Italy will closely monitor the follow-up of the meeting in order to coordinate any potential expression of interest by Italian investors.
