Poet, performer and rapper

Giuliano Carlo De Santis, aka Giuliano Logos, born in ‘93, is a poet, performer and rapper from Puglia. In 2021, he became the first Italian to win the title of World Poetry Slam Champion in Paris, at the 15th edition of the event. 

His love for words leads him towards a law degree with an international focus, a master's degree in international relations and one in corporate communication, institutional relations and lobbying, and simultaneously towards rap and hip hop, first, and performance poetry later.

After winning the Paris Poetry Slam in 2022, he toured the USA, Puerto Rico, Senegal, Morocco, Spain and China on the occasion of the XXII Settimana della lingua Italiana nel Mondo with the collaboration of the various Italian Cultural Institutes and the Consulate of Italy in Chongqing, performing together with artist such as the founder of the Poetry Slam movement in the 1980s: Marc Kelly Smith. In 2023 and 2024, he is again, twice, on an international tour, performing in France, Germany, Spain, Denmark, Portugal and Belgium. 

In 2023 he is one of the three tutors of Zètema’s PROJECT ABC - together with actor Massimiliano Bruno and rapper Rancore - and holds the largest performance poetry workshop ever held in Italy, for 450 enthusiastic high school students to listen, write and share their verses, for three horse, inside Palladium Theatre.

He is co-founder and president of the collective WOW - Incendi Spontanei, an organization for the promotion and internationalization of performance poetry based in Rome, and founder of the PO.ETICH method - Team Empowerment Strategies through Performance Poetry - which since 2024 aims to provide practical and transferable tools to deal with challenges and problems within the work context.

Giuliano Logos received the ITFF Italian Excellence award on 6 October 2024 within the 13th edition of the International Tour Film Festival, in Civitavecchia.
