Carlotta Sarina
Lotta | Climate Artivist
Convinced that our voice is the most powerful tool against indifference, LOTTA sings, plays, and writes to build a bridge between message and people. Her music aims to generate a “reaction” that becomes movement: words and sound are her tools to turn awareness into action.
On April 16, 2026, in New York, at the Creative Climate Awards, she launched her first single ACT NOW,, produced by Pierpaolo Moschino (Fluido Studio) within the Revolutional project, the activist music label founded by Alex Braga and developed within House of Music. The track is released exclusively on Bandcamp, as a deliberate choice to create a direct and conscious relationship with listeners, outside the logic of traditional platforms.
Raised on a hill in Salsomaggiore Terme, in direct contact with nature from an early age, LOTTA developed her musical path through the Liceo Musicale and the Conservatory, studying double bass. In 2019, she toured China with the Campana Philharmonic Orchestra, performing in nearly thirty theaters — an experience that brought her onto international stages at a very young age.
In 2022 came a turning point. After moving to Milan, she experienced a crisis with a music world driven by competition, and chose instead to engage with major climate activism movements across Europe. In Strasbourg, during a protest in front of the European Parliament, she realized she did not have to choose between art and activism: she could merge them. This led to Detonazione, a performance she wrote, performed, and toured across Europe, from Paris to Berlin, from Prague to Vienna.
In 2023, she co-created the track POWER with producer Sharxx, which became a soundtrack for Fridays For Future protests in Italy and was later played in Paris by the same collective that had inspired her, closing a symbolic circle.
At the same time, she deepened her work in storytelling at the Holden School, developing new performances and projects to communicate the climate crisis in accessible and engaging ways. She also presented part of her work at TEDx Varese.
Today, her path enters a new phase: from theater to original music, with ACT NOW and new tracks like NO PLANET B and POWER, creating live sets that combine sound, body, and presence in public space.
After New York, she will travel to Colombia to join the Climate Justice Flotilla, an international initiative that brings together activism, art, and global mobilization for climate justice.
LOTTA’s work moves between stage and street, between performance and action. She does not separate art from reality — she holds them together in the same gesture.
