Milan | New York, April 16th 2026 – Music as a political act, as a space for connection. This is where the work of LOTTA (Carlotta Sarina), climate artivist and musician, takes shape. She has been invited to perform at the Creative Climate Awards 2026, the international program promoted by the Human Impacts Institute that brings together artists in New York engaged with climate justice.
On April 16, 2026, during the opening night of the Creative Climate Awards in Manhattan, hosted at the Times Center in New York, (Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) 1 E 42nd St New York, NYC) LOTTA performed a live set where electronic music and activism meet to transform sound into action.
At the core of the performance is “ACT NOW”, presented in its world premiere in New York. The track, available from April 16 through a dedicated landing page. The song will be accessible via an artistic QR code distributed physically at events and shared across the artivist’s social channels, moves through pop and electronic sounds to transform the urgency of the climate crisis into a call for collective action. Alongside “ACT NOW”, LOTTA will also perform “POWER”, reinforcing a direct and immediate message of responsibility and change.
The track is produced by Pierpaolo “ilromantico” Moschino (FLUIDOSTUDIO) and Alex Braga, founder of Revolutional - the first artivism label born within House of Music - who selected LOTTA as the first artist of the project, and who also oversees the artistic direction together with Victor “Kwality” Chissano (House of Music). LOTTA’s participation in the Creative Climate Awards is part of an already ongoing international path: she was in Belém, Brazil, for COP30 last November, and after New York she will travel to Colombia, where she will join the Climate Justice Flotilla, an initiative that brings together activism, art, and global mobilization for climate justice.
LOTTA’s work moves at the intersection of music and activism. Her performances often emerge within protests, mobilizations, and public spaces, where music becomes a tool to break indifference and create connection.
“Bringing “ACT NOW” as a world premiere to New York, in this historical moment,” said LOTTA, “has a deeply symbolic value. It is a track born from the urgency to transform awareness into action - from the moment you realize that “this is not a drill,” as the song says, and that standing on the sidelines is no longer an option. Releasing it together with Revolutional | House of Music and launching it through this Human Impacts Institute event makes the message even more concrete and interconnected. I’m arriving here just a few days before leaving for Colombia, where I will take part in an international mobilization for climate justice. It’s in this crossing between art and reality that the meaning of ACT NOW becomes even more urgent. “POWER” comes from that moment when we realize that change doesn’t come from above, but moves through people. It’s an invitation to recognize our collective strength, to feel it growing “stronger by the hour” - and to turn it into mass action.
“In a historical moment in which the system is forcing us to endure the daily construction of an inhumane dystopia,” said Alex Braga, founder of Revolutional and manager of LOTTA, “stripping away not only our right to express ourselves freely, but also attacking fundamental human rights, artists can no longer separate their thoughts from their voice. To remain silent now is to be complicit. Revolutional was created as an ecosystem to support all activist artists who, like us, feel the urgency to express dissent and take action on the ground through concrete projects of resistance and rebuilding social justice. LOTTA is the first cry of this uprising.”
The artist will also perform on April 22, for Earth Day (DUMBO Archway & Plaza, Adams St Brooklyn, NYC), with an extended live set dedicated to climate mobilization.
The Creative Climate Awards are today one of the leading international platforms dedicated to climate art, with a program including performances, talks, and screenings across New York City.
