My fundraiser to stay in Belém and report on COP30 from the perspective of the peoples of the Amazon

Belém, 13 November 2025 | I’m here at COP30 with a simple and radical intention: to tell what is truly happening — not only inside the official pavilions, but in the streets, in the villages, in the bodies and voices of the peoples who inhabit the Amazon.

Together with Lillo, I am documenting the conference every day from the perspective of Indigenous communities, who hold an ancient knowledge deeply rooted in the Earth.
It’s an artistic, empathic, and solidarity-driven gaze: my lens is music, storytelling, and presence.

To continue this work with independence and responsibility, however, I need concrete support.

We are travelling on a very tight budget, self-funding everything, and many expenses are still uncovered. It’s the first time I’m supporting such a long journey entirely through the proceeds of my art.

My wish is to stay here as long as needed, to give space and resonance to those who are too often left out of the official narrative: the peoples of the forest, their words, their wounds, and their strength.

I truly believe that the truth is held by those who live and protect the Earth, not by those who exploit it.
And I believe that now more than ever their voices must be amplified — with care, respect, and transparency.

Every contribution, even a small one, is a political and human gesture.
It will allow me to keep documenting, with honesty and gentle radicality, what is happening here.
