The Italian version here.

LOTTA’s voice will be in Belém, Brazil, to sing and tell the story of COP30 – the United Nations Climate Conference – and to take part in the Cúpula dos Povos, the “People’s Summit” that will bring together thousands of activistə, artistə, Indigenous communities from the Amazon, and movements from all over the world.

LOTTA, an Italian singer-songwriter and climate artivist who blends music, words, and direct action, will bring to Belém her voice and her art as tools for collective activation. She is part of Revolutional, the activist music label founded by Alex Braga, now part of House of Music – Asian Fake.

“No other land, no other sea. There is no Planet B,” sings LOTTA. “In Belém, the eastern gateway to the Amazon, on the delta of the Rio delle Amazzoni, I will bring this chorus — to remind us that we have no other planet, and that taking care of each other must be the foundation of this society.
I dream of singing in a world that puts ecosystems and multispecies life at its center — of which humans are a part, and on which we depend.
Eco-climate flotillas like the Yaku Mama Flotilla and Flotilla4Change will soon dock in Belém. Those boats carry a spark that must not go out, because all struggles are connected: the climate crisis, inequality, wars, genocides, patriarchy, colonialism, technocracy — they are different symptoms of the same disease. Only by recognizing them can we truly change.
It’s no longer time to talk only about climate — we must talk about empathy, justice, relationship, and biodiversity.
Music can open spaces where data cannot reach; it can make us feel what we often forget to feel.
I will sing No Planet B, my latest techno track, to amplify the voices present in Brazil, connecting with them during the Cúpula dos Povos.”
LOTTA (Carlotta Sarina)

Through live performances, talks, and video stories, LOTTA will give body and sound to the emotions of a generation demanding climate and social justice.

Alongside her, LILLO (Lorenzo Barili) — environmental economist, activist, and researcher — will contribute critical analysis and data insights, translating into facts and reflection what LOTTA will express through art and energy.

“Together with LOTTA, we will be at COP30 — the UN Climate Conference.
I will focus particularly on the Cúpula dos Povos, the largest parallel gathering ever organized by civil society, which will present its own agenda for climate and social justice.
For many, living through this historical moment — witnessing genocides, wars, growing inequalities, and environmental devastation — is deeply frustrating and exhausting.
Yet it’s precisely in the cracks of the model that brought us here that new ideas and alliances can emerge.
Through global collaboration and the courage to imagine new paths — as the movement for Palestine has shown us — we can give rise to a new wave of bottom-up climate action, powered by people and for people, rooted in equity, solidarity, ecology, and peace.
Will this be the conference of billionaires and the fossil industry, or the call of civil society and Indigenous peoples? We’ll find out in Belém.”
LILLO (Lorenzo Barili)

Together, they will narrate COP30 as a collective and human experience, intertwining art and knowledge to offer the world a new perspective on the planet’s future — one that awakens conscience and turns listening into direct action.
With a dual gaze, they will send updates from Belém to let us experience the COP through both emotional and analytical lenses.
There are no other solutions. The People’s COP is the one that must be welcomed, heard, and followed.

LOTTA (Carlotta Sarina)

Convinced that our voice is the most powerful tool against indifference, LOTTA sings, plays, and writes to build a bridge between message and individual. She is part of Revolutional, the activist music label founded by Alex Braga, now within House of Music – Asian Fake.

With Detonazione, she brought to squares and theaters a story of art and activism capable of triggering a reaction that catches the eyes of those who usually look away.
On October 11, she debuted L’Eco in Pordenone (written with Sara Segantin, [link to news]) — a journey of steps and notes across the mountains, to speak of climate and social justice.

Author of the track POWER (with producer Sharxx, [link to video]), which made the squares of the climate mobilizations dance.

In 2025, she returned to live on the hill where she was born, now turning it into a climate refuge.
She actively participates in Extinction Rebellion mobilizations ([link to news of first action]) and Salso for Palestine ([link to open letter]).

She believes in acting both globally, alongside international movements, and locally, in her own city.
She is currently working on her first album and a book, to be published by Rizzoli, telling the story behind Detonazione: where the hill she grew up on becomes a metaphor for the planet, a family story made of cracks and roots.

LILLO (Lorenzo Barili)

Environmental economist, activist, and researcher, he works on the intersection between inequality and the eco-climate crisis, combining theoretical training in economics and environmental sciences with direct experience in social movements.

He is currently attending the Master’s in European Environmental Economics and Policy, focusing on the economic and policy tools needed to turn social justice into effective climate action.
His thesis, “Renewable Energy Communities: the Backbone of a Just Transition”, explores the role of civil society organizations in the energy transition.

In recent years, he has collaborated with campaigns such as Agenda Climatica (Fridays For Future Italia, 2022) and Primavera Rumorosa (Extinction Rebellion Italia).
He facilitated the national assemblies of Fridays For Future (Bari 2023, Pavia 2024) and the “Horizontality and Transparency” working group at the international meeting in Turin.
He is part of the Gli Stati Generali per il Clima and United for Climate Justice EU networks, and has training in facilitation from La Prossima Cultura, which allows him to analyze political processes with an intersectional and historical perspective.

Coordination and Communication

The initiative is coordinated by Mirandola Comunicazione, which will collect on iPressLIVE [at this link] texts, videos, and materials arriving from Belém, creating an artistic and scientific diary of COP30.
