17° Iran International Environment Exhibition
Nell’ambito della 17^ Esposizione Internazionale dell’Ambiente che si terrà a Teheran dal 21 al 24 febbraio 2018, UNIDO ITPO Italy e il Ministero italiano dell’Ambiente e della Tutela del Territorio e del Mare organizzano il seminario tecnico “A Circular Economy Waste Management Approach for Industrial and Urban areas”, con la collaborazione del Department of Environment Iraniano.
Il seminario tratterà il tema della gestione sostenibile del ciclo dei rifiuti con particolare attenzione al recupero di energia e di materiali, nell’ottica di facilitare l’incontro tra le tecnologie e le imprese italiane e le istituzioni e il sistema economico iraniano e vedrà la partecipazione di autorità governative iraniane, tra cui rappresentanti dei Ministeri dell’Ambiente e dell’Energia, delle municipalità di Teheran e altre province, e aziende locali operative nei settori di interesse.
La partecipazione all’evento, che si svolgerà nelle prime due giornate dell’Esposizione, il 21 e 22 febbraio, è aperta a imprese italiane operanti nel settore della gestione dei rifiuti e del recupero di energia e materiali che vogliano portare contributi sul tema e sfruttare l’opportunità per presentare le loro tecnologie innovative. Le presentazioni delle aziende partecipanti dovranno essere contenute in 25/30 minuti.
Le tecnologie considerate di maggiore interesse per le controparti locali in questo contesto sono le seguenti:
- Impianti di termovalorizzazione
- Impianti di digestione anaerobica dei rifiuti e produzione di biogas
- Trattamento del percolato prodotto in discarica
- Gestione e trattamento dei rifiuti derivanti dalle attività di costruzione
- Trattamento e depurazione delle acque reflue

In the framework of the 17th Iran International Environment Exhibition held in Tehran from the 21st to the 24th February 2018, UNIDO ITPO Italy and the Italian Ministry of Environment, Land and Sea will organize the technical seminar “A Circular Economy Waste Management Approach for Industrial and Urban areas”, in collaboration with the Iranian Department of Environment.
The seminar will explore the theme of the sustainable waste cycle management with a particular focus on the energy and material recovery, with the objective to facilitate the interaction between Italian enterprises and local stakeholders from the Iranian economic system operating in the sectors of interest. The seminar will be attended by relevant representatives from local institutions such as the Ministry of Energy and the Department of Environment, the municipalities of Tehran and other Iranian provinces, as well as local enterprises attending the exhibition.
The participation to the event, to be held on 21 and 22 February, during the first two days of the exhibition, is open to Italian enterprises operating in the waste management and energy and material recovery sectors which would be interested to provide their technical contribution and take advantage of the opportunity to present their innovative technologies. Presentations should take approximately 30 minutes.
In this context, the most suitable technologies for Iranian stakeholders are the following:
- Waste incineration plants
- Anaerobic digestion and biogas production
- Treatment of leachate from dumping sites
- Disposal and recovery of construction waste
- Wastewater treatment
