Seminario tecnico sul Green Neighborhoods in Libano
Beirut - 3-4 maggio 2018 - Nell'ambito della collaborazione con il Ministero Italiano dell'Ambiente, della tutela del Territorio e del Mare, UNIDO ITPO Italy ha organizzato un seminario tecnico sul tema del Green Neighborhoods, incentrato su sei filoni principali: quartieri verdi e città, edifici verdi, progettazione di spazi pubblici e aree verdi, trasporto sostenibile, sostenibilità nella gestione delle acque, dell’energia e del cibo, sostenibilità nella gestione dei rifiuti. L’evento si è svolto a Beirut, in collaborazione con il Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation (LCEC), controparte locale di IMELS nel progetto realizzato congiuntamente con UNIDO ITPO Italy.
All’evento hanno preso parte 15 aziende italiane e oltre 50 libanesi, con l’opportunità di partecipare a oltre cento incontri BtoB. Il seminario è stato anche arricchito dalla partecipazione dell'Arch. Mario Cucinella, autore di una lectio magistralis focalizzata sulla riconosciuta esperienza italiana in quest’ambito.
UNIDO ITPO Italy curerà il follow-up degli incontri effettuati, aprendo la strada alla partecipazione delle aziende italiane al prossimo Beirut Energy Forum (IBEF), che si terrà a settembre 2018.

In the context of the collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Environment, Land and Sea, UNIDO ITPO Italy organized a technical seminar on green neighborhoods, focused on six main topics: green neighborhoods and cities, green buildings, design of public spaces and green areas, sustainable transportation, sustainable water, energy & food, sustainable waste. The Forum was held in Beirut, in cooperation with the Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation (LCEC), local counterpart of IMELS in the project jointly implemented with UNIDO ITPO Italy.
Around 15 Italian companies and more than 50 Lebanese ones attended the event, carrying out more than one hundred BtoB meetings. The event was also enriched by the participation of Arch. Mario Cucinella, who delivered a lectio magistralis focused on the recognized Italian experience in this topic.
UNIDO ITPO Italy will follow-up the meetings held, paving the way for the participation of the Italian companies in the forthcoming International Beirut Energy Forum (IBEF), which will take place in September 2018.
