UNIDO ITPO ITALY HA PARTECIPATO ALL'IRAN ROAD SHOW
Roma, 6 Marzo 2018 - UNIDO ITPO Italy ha preso parte all’Iran Road Show, conferenza di presentazione dei regolamenti e strumenti finanziari per gli investitori stranieri in Iran, organizzata dalla Camera di Commercio e Industria Italio-Iraniana.
La presentazione, che ha visto la partecipazione di molti importanti stakeholder operanti nel settore finanziario, è stata aperta dall’intervento di Pier Luigi D’Agata, Segretario Generale della Camera di Commercio e Industria Italio-Iraniana, e a seguire da Abbas Naderi, Primo Segretario dell’Ambasciata Iraniana a Roma. Entrambi hanno illustrato le ultime statistiche e i dati più recenti sugli scambi commerciali tra l’Italia e l’Iran, sottolineando il forte legame esistente tra i due paesi e la grande opportunità fornita dal mercato iraniano, soprattutto dopo la recente rimozione delle sanzioni economiche. Di particolare interesse gli interventi focalizzati sugli aspetti generali e legislativi per investimenti esteri in Iran, evidenziando i continui progressi compiuti dal Paese dall’inizio del 2016, e gli attuali metodi di finanziamento applicabili per le imprese italiane.
La partecipazione di UNIDO ITPO Italy si colloca nell’ambito del proprio progetto “Supporto alle PMI Iraniane attraverso la promozione degli investimenti e il trasferimento di tecnologie nel settore energetico ed ambientale”, implementato in collaborazione con il Ministero dell'Ambiente e della Tutela del Territorio e del Mare (MATTM).

UNIDO ITPO ITALY PARTICIPATED IN THE IRAN ROAD SHOW
Rome, 6 March 2018 - UNIDO ITPO Italy participated to the Iran Road Show on financial instruments and regulations for foreign investors in Iran, organized by the Italy-Iran Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Among other relevant stakeholders operating in the financial sector, this event was attended by the Deputy Director for Foreign Investments of the Organization for Investment, Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran (OIETAI).
The opening of the country presentation was characterized by the remarks of Mr. Pier Luigi D’Agata, Secretary General of the Italy-Iran Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Mr. Abbas Naderi, First Secretary of the Iranian Embassy in Rome. Both illustrated recent data and statistics on the commercial trade between Italy and Iran, stressing on the strong relation existing between the two countries and the great opportunity represented by the Iranian market, especially after the economic sanctions were removed, on January 2016.
Finally the financial aspects regarding trade and business have been presented by representatives from the legal firm and important institutions. They emphasized the current applicable methods of financing for Italian companies and underlined the continuous progress made since January 2016.
The participation of UNIDO ITPO Italy is part of the project "Support to Iran’s SMEs through investment promotion and technology transfer in energy and environment", implemented in collaboration with the Italian Ministry for Environment, Land and Sea (IMELS).
