Mozambico: ITPO Italy partecipa al FACIM 2017 con una delegazione di imprese italiane del settore agro
Maputo, 28 Agosto-3 Settembre 2017 - Nell'ambito del progetto a beneficio del Mozambico, UNIDO ITPO Italy è presente alla 53a edizione della FACIM - Fiera Internazionale multisettoriale di Maputo, che si svolge nella capitale del paese africano fino al 3 Settembre pv.
ITPO Italy, presente con uno stand all'interno dell'area espositiva organizzata da ICE per gli operatori italiani, sta supportando e organizzando l’agenda di incontri d'affari per una delegazione di imprese italiane nel settore agroindustriale interessate alle opportunità di investimento e trasferimento tecnologico identificate nell'ambito del progetto (maggiori info sul sito dedicato www.unido.it/mozambico). In questo contesto, il focus principale della partecipazione di ITPO Italy per questa edizione sarà sull'uso di fertilizzanti speciali e assemblaggio e promozione di piccoli macchinari agricoli quali motocoltivatori e trebbiatrici, adatti alle piccole dimensioni delle aziende e cooperative locali.
La manifestazione FACIM, principale evento economico di livello internazionale nel africano, è una fiera campionaria a carattere plurisettoriale, con focus su alcuni settori considerati prioritari a livello governativo, tra i quali l’agricoltura e l’agroindustria.
Dopo aver registrato, negli ultimi quindici anni, un aumento del PIL reale tra i più elevati del continente africano (7% in media all’anno), nel 2016 la crescita dell'economia mozambicana ha rallentato per ragioni di economia interna e per effetto del calo dei prezzi delle materie prime. Tuttavia, nel medio periodo, anche in considerazione dell’elevato potenziale agricolo del paese e del focus governativo sul tema, le prospettive di sviluppo del settore rimangono positive e di assoluto interesse.
Mozambique: ITPO Italy participates in FACIM 2017 with a delegation of Italian companies operating in the agro-industry sector
Maputo, 28 August-3 September 2017 - In the framework of its project to benefit Mozambique, UNIDO ITPO Italy participates in the 53rd edition of FACIM – the International multi-sectoral Trade Fair of Maputo, that is taking place in the capital of the African country until the 3 of September.
ITPO Italy will be present with a stand within the exhibition area, managed by the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) for the Italian economic operators attending the fair. Besides, ITPO Italy is organizing an agenda of business meetings for a delegation of Italian companies of the agro-industrial sector interested in the investment and technology transfer opportunities identified within the project (additional info are available on the dedicated website www.unido.it/mozambico). In this context, the main focus of ITPO Italy’s participation in this edition will be the use of special fertilizers and the assembly and promotion of small agricultural machinery such as two wheel tractors and threshing machines, which are suitable for the small size of local companies and cooperatives.
FACIM is the major economic event organized internationally in the country, it is a multi-sectoral trade fair, which focuses on certain sectors such as agriculture and agroindustry that are considered a priority at the governmental level.
During the last fifteen years Mozambique’s GDP growth has been among the highest in Africa (7% on average per year), until the year 2016 when growth has slowed down due less favourable domestic economic conditions and the fall of raw material prices. However, over the medium term, development prospects remain positive and attractive, also in consideration of the large agricultural potential of the country and the strong governmental commitment in the sector.
