UNIDO ITPO Italy to Aquafarm show
Pordenone, il 26 e il 27 gennaio 2017 UNIDO ITPO Italy ha partecipato ad Aquafarm show, mostra – convegno di due giorni dedicata alle tecnologie, ai prodotti e alle buone pratiche della produzione sostenibile di cibo dall’acqua, temi di assoluta attualità.
L’evento si è concentrato sui tre temi dell’acquacoltura sostenibile, dell’algocoltura e del vertical farming, dando la possibilità ai professionisti dei tre mondi di potersi confrontare. La partecipazione di UNIDO ITPO Italy rientra nel progetto di cooperazione tecnica nel settore ittico, che l’ufficio sta portando avanti in quattro paesi dell’Africa Occidentale: Mauritania, Senegal, Costa d’Avorio e Guinea. Il progetto è finalizzato ad incrementare l’accesso al mercato degli operatori locali, attraverso attività di training e la promozione di opportunità di partenariato con la comunità imprenditoriale italiana.
Il progetto è stato presentato a molti espositori presenti in fiera, promuovendo le opportunità esistenti in Senegal, Guinea e Costa d’Avorio. Particolare interesse ha suscitato inoltre il Forum che UNIDO ITPO Italy organizzerà il prossimo maggio, in cui le aziende italiane del settore avranno modo di confrontarsi con le controparti locali per valutare potenziali partnership.

Pordenone, on January 26th and 27th 2017 UNIDO ITPO Italy participated in Aquafarm show, a two days exhibition - conference dedicated to the technologies, products and best practices of sustainable food production from water, very contemporary issues.
The event focused on the three themes of sustainable aquaculture, cultivation of algae and vertical farming, giving the opportunity to the professionals of the three worlds to be able to confront themselves. The participation of UNIDO ITPO Italy is part of the technical cooperation project in the fishing industry, which ITPO is carrying out in four West African countries: Mauritania, Senegal, Ivory Coast and Guinea. The project aims to increase the access to market for local operators, through training activities and promotion of partnership opportunities within the Italian business community.
The project was presented to many exhibitors attending the fair, promoting the existing opportunities in Senegal, Guinea and Ivory Coast. Particular interest was also showed for the Forum that UNIDO ITPO Italy will organize in May, in which the Italian companies of the sector will be able to meet the local counterparts to evaluate potential partnerships.
