The Internet was created long ago when computers were so big and expensive that only universities, large companies and some governments could own them and the exchange of information back and forth between these computers created a network. This network grew until, in the 1980s, the first personal computers appeared in the market and then exploded. Now everything is connected. Computers, smartphones, televisions, cars, refrigerators and power stations to name but a few. People don’t just use the Internet to talk to each other but use it to play, work, send money, read the news and go shopping regardless of the price to be paid: security. A computer can send a virus or malware to another computer or send instructions to erase all your data or steal important documents, passwords or details to access home banking. The bad news is that we will never be completely safe as these kinds of vulnerabilities are inherent in the architecture of the Internet. The good news is that there are many people who strive daily to make everything more secure. But how does this work with billions of interconnected devices and sensors that exchange countless tons of information? How is it possible to make sense of this huge and continuous flow of data? How can we predict, prevent and protect against fraud and attacks in the midst of all this chaos? We have created an Artificial Intelligence that is able to read, interpret and decide wisely and quickly. This is what we do. Simply.
