The calendar of meetings and events involving the City of Alba and the territory, as a corollary of the International Alba White Truffle Fair

A rich calendar of cultural events, shows and appointments will be the corollary to the 91st edition of the International Alba White Truffle Fair.

CONTEMPORARY WIDESPREAD MUSEUM

An unprecedented project in the Langhe area, aimed at linking cuisine and contemporary art, will promote the network of starred restaurants in the Fair circuit as well as the Organization's vocation for creativity in all its forms. The initiative - conceived and organized in collaboration with the Castello di Perno and The Musketeers collective, with the support of Reale Mutua - will take the form of a Contemporary Widespread Museum, a map of the area marked by the colors, flavors and exclusive collaborations between chefs and artists from the area.

The selected artists and chefs will see Chef Pasquale Laera from Borgo Sant'Anna, in Monforte d'Alba, paired with Namsal Siedlecki, Chef Ugo Alciati from Guido Ristorante, at Villa Contessa Rosa, in Serralunga d'Alba, with Monia Ben Hamouda, Chef Luca Zecchin by Guido da Costigliole, at Relais San Maurizio, in Santo Stefano Belbo, with Fabiano Di Cocco, Chef Davide Palluda from All'Enoteca di Canale, with Michela Nosiglia, Chef Gabriele Boffa from Locanda del Santo Uffizio, in Cioccaro di Penango, with Patrick Tuttofuoco and Chef Enrico Marmo, from the Osteria Arborina, in La Morra, with Letizia Cariello.

For the entire duration of the International Alba White Truffle Fair, from October 9th to December 5th, each restaurant will host a selection of the artist's works in its rooms. In addition, every two-weeks each restaurant will host a special event in person, during which the artist and the chef will unveil the creations developed together, making the public part in the creative, collaborative and exchange processes developed in the weeks of preparation.

ASTI PALAZZI DEL GUSTO. THE THOUSAND PERFUMES OF MONFERRATO

The Tourism Department of the Municipality of Asti in collaboration with the International Alba White Truffle Fair and the National Center for Truffle Studies, with the support of the Cassa di Risparmio di Asti Foundation, the Barbera d'Asti Consortium and wines from Monferrato, the Asti DOCG Consortium, the Astigiani Hoteliers and Restaurateurs Association, the Asti Confcommercio and the Asti Musei Foundation presents the first edition of “Asti Palazzi del Gusto. The Thousand Perfumes of Monferrato". On Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th November, the historic buildings of Asti open their doors to the flavors and aromas of the Alba White Truffle and the wines presented by the Consorzio Barbera d'Asti and Monferrato wines and the Asti DOCG Consortium. An opportunity to deepen the knowledge of the best products of autumnal Piedmont through cooking shows, sensory analysis and wine tastings, with not-to-be-missed shopping opportunities at the truffle market exhibition and at the National Truffle Fair.

FESTIVALIEVE

From November 26th to 28th Asti will host the first edition of FestivaLieve: meetings with writers, art critics, designers, journalists, popularizers, web and sports stars, outdoor circus performances and evenings dedicated to stand-up theater comedy and an exhibition, on the centenary of the birth of Lele Luzzati, which aims to explore the relationship between the Genoese master, Italo Calvino and the concept of levity. These three days will be very intense, organized by the cultural association Feed of Asti between Palco 19 and Palazzo Ottolenghi, in conjunction with the National Truffle Fair of Asti and the International Alba White Truffle Fair in Asti. Beyond the borders of the hills of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato, on October 25th the Alba White Truffle will land at the court of S.A.S. Albert II of Monaco, in an exclusive event at the Montecarlo Yacht Club, in the presence of the prince. Other international events are programmed in Switzerland, starting with Verbier.

Renewing a successful encounter, La Vendemmia is back, one of the most eagerly anticipated events of the Milanese autumn, conceived and promoted by the MonteNapoleone District, with the aim of uniting the great international luxury brands and the most prestigious national and international wineries, with the participation of the best restaurants and 5-star luxury hotels in the city.

To enrich the schedule of this edition of the Fair, there are several art exhibitions on the calendar, starting with Burri - the poetry of matter, organized by the Ferrero Foundation, in addition to the proposals of the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation, the Bottari Lattes Foundation and the Foundation CRC.
