UNIDO ITPO ITALY OSPITA LA CAMERA DI COMMERCIO E DELL'INDUSTRIA DI LAHORE (LCCI)
Roma, 17 Aprile 2018 – Nel quadro delle proprie attività con le organizzazioni internazionali e rilevanti stakeholders, UNIDO ITPO Italy ha ospitato presso il proprio ufficio, una delegazione della Camera di Commercio e dell’Industria di Lahore (LCCI).
La delegazione, composta da oltre 20 rappresentanti, tra cui alti funzionari, membri del comitato esecutivo della Camera e dirigenti di azienda è stata guidata dal Vice Presidente Senior della LCCI, dott. Khawaja Khawar Rashid.
La visita, organizzata in collaborazione con l’Ambasciata del Pakistan in Italia, ha avuto come obiettivo quello di apprendere le attività e le metodologie dell’ufficio, oltre a ricevere informazioni sulla base delle esperienze e delle migliori pratiche implementate da UNIDO ITPO Italy, nel suo impegno per promuovere il raggiungimento di uno sviluppo inclusivo e sostenibile, contribuendo allo sviluppo industriale dei paesi in via di sviluppo e delle economie in transizione.
Il Vice Presidente Rashid, durante il suo intervento, ha dato risalto ai molteplici settori industriali rappresentati nel quadro della LCCI. Ha sottolineato, inoltre, le numerose potenziali opportunità di investimento per i fornitori di tecnologia e gli investitori italiani nel contesto dinamico di Lahore. Concludendo, ha espresso la sua gratitudine per l’efficiente e promettente collaborazione instaurata con UNIDO ITPO Italy.
La Camera di Commercio e dell'Industria è un’istituzione molto attiva nel supporto alla comunità imprenditoriale di Lahore, fornendo ai suoi membri opportunità di business. La sua funzione è anche la promozione delle opportunità di investimento e delle capacità locali attraverso programmi di scambio tecnico e cooperazione internazionale a supporto dello sviluppo sociale ed economico di Lahore e del Pakistan.
VISIT OF LAHORE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY (LCCI) DELEGATION TO UNIDO ITPO ITALY
Rome, 17 April 2018 - In the framework of the regular collaboration with foreign organizations and UNIDO’s relevant stakeholders, UNIDO ITPO Italy hosted a delegation from the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) on 17 April 2018 in its premises.
The Pakistani delegation was composed by more than 20 delegates among senior officers, members of the Chamber executive committee and company managers. The LCCI is an extremely active institution which serves the business community of Lahore by providing business opportunities to its members. Its function is also to promote investment opportunities and local capacities through programs of technical exchanges and international cooperation to support Lahore and Pakistan’s economic and social development.
During his address the Senior Vice President of LCCI, Mr. Khawaja Khawar Rashid, pointed out the multiple industrial sectors represented in the framework of the Chamber. Besides, he underlined the numerous investment opportunities existing for Italian technology providers and investors within the dynamic context of Lahore. Finally, he expressed his satisfaction for the efficient and promising collaboration established with UNIDO ITPO Italy.
The scope of the visit, organized in collaboration with the Embassy of Pakistan in Italy, was to learn about our office activity and methodology, in addition to collect information from the experiences and best practices implemented by UNIDO ITPO Italy in its effort to promote the achievement of inclusive and sustainable development contributing to the industrial development of developing countries and countries with economies in transition.
