Vienna, October 29th, 2014 - The “Pioneers Startup Programs” is an international event that allows chosen innovative startups to present themselves to a large audience of investors belonging to the global startup ecosystem.

Eight hundred investors, media and tech companies will participate in this important event, during which 50 startups will make a pitch for their projects and try to encourage investors and the media to get to know them better, with the aim of achieving funding and partnership opportunities.

iPress has developed an area where you can follow the event and view the profiles of the participating speakers: http://www.ipresslive.it/events/24/pioneers.

iPress is synchronized with Amazon, Twitter and Facebook to offer a web feed featuring the conversations concerning this event. At the same time, iPress offers users the possibility to follow the streaming version of the Festival, along with the flow generated by the hashtag #pioneers14. Through the platform, users can interact in real time with the public profiles of the event’s speakers and influencers on social networks. iPress is in fact a powerful engagement tool.

Over 1.000 startups from 58 countries took part in the selection - said Marisandra Lizzi, Founder of iPress – The fact that we ended up being among the top 150 is pushing us even more to achieve our goal of developing the platform at a global level, after the Italian market test.

The mission of iPress is precisely to bring innovation to the relationships between influencers, media, companies, startups, communicators...

For all the startups and companies that wish to spread news during the Pioneers Festival, the platform will be available free of charge by entering the code IPIONEERS14, which is valid until December 1st 2014.

The various teams will be able to access the area dedicated to the event and upload their own press releases supplied with multimedia material into a platform used by thousands of Italian journalists, bloggers and communicators.

iPress also allows users to view the press releases related to the Italian startup scenario, by providing the name of the newspapers and a clickable version of the articles: users can view the full text of printed articles, TV and radio reports and also online articles. In addition, users can’t miss the opportunity to explore the profile of journalists or bloggers: interacting with them is incredibly easy. In fact, their profile is integrated with professional information, published books that are available on Amazon and above all, the web feeds of their posts on major social networks, which viewers can instantly “like,” “reply to,” or “retweet.”

The concept behind iPress was first developed in 2000 by Marisandra Lizzi, who in 2010 met the platform’s developer, Stefano Ubaldi. In 2010, together with two other founders, a first version of the platform was developed and in 2012 it was incubated in Silicon Valley for a period of mentoring that opened up a new pathway for the startup. iPress has become a solution for social fatigue, information overload and spam, in the field of communication and information. The platform represents a sort of link between analog and digital media, capable of integrating them in a single online environment. From spam to advanced news clouds. iPress is a platform allowing users to manage news and social networks, by minimizing time-consuming and low added value work and improving communication and engagement potential with relevant influencers in areas of interest. We filter the right influencers for each area of interest from radio, TV, printed media and the web, allowing users to send them information and to develop targeted engagement. We're working on an influence index that combines digital and printed information. Influence levels can’t be measured only online. The market test in Italy was completed in 2014 and now the startup is looking for investors for the development of the platform at an international level, which is planned to take place in 2015.
