2013/2015 Tour de France Winner - Team Sky

Chris Froome was born in Nairobi in 1985 to British parents. He was educated and raised in South Africa and now races for Team GB and Team Sky.

In 2012 he was runner-up in the Tour de France and won the bronze medal in the Time Trial at the Olympic Games.
Chris amassed five stage-race victories in 2013, with triumphs at the Tour of Oman, Criterium International, Tour de Romandie and Criterium du Dauphine leading into a dominant win at the 100th
Tour de France. He won the prestigious Velo d’Or Award for best rider of 2013 and was shortlisted for the 2013 BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award.

After crashing out of the 2014 Tour de France with a broken left wrist and right hand, he returned to racing at the Vuelta Espana only 8 weeks later, where he finished as runner-up to Alberto Contador.
Going in to the 2015 season Chris is amongst the favourites to win the Tour de France.
