As a long-time iOS security enthusiast, I was able to grasp the main kernel attack vectors and defense mechanisms. I got my master’s degree in Cybersecurity in 2021. During my thesis, I had the opportunity to write a forensic framework for iOS to support file system acquisitions by reusing the major available kernel exploits. I then started my career as an Offensive Security Specialist, performing audits of both cloud and on-premise infrastructures while deepening my vulnerability research skills in my free time. I've recently turned to Linux security research, thus finding vulnerabilities inside the Linux Netfilter component resulting in local privilege escalation and bypassing all current mitigations. In the last few years, I've given offensive security trainings at the University of Milan and Milano-Bicocca and held a presentation about Linux security at HITB.
