Alex Bard is CEO of Campaign Monitor, simple and elegant email marketing software for business. He is a career entrepreneur with a passion for building companies that help businesses grow.

Alex previously served as the executive vice president and general manager of Salesforce Service Cloud, having joined Salesforce via acquisition of Assistly, the customer service company he led. Alex has been a founder of four cloud software companies, including eShare Technologies, eAssist Global Solutions, Goowy Media and Assistly.

His leadership has been recognized by Forbes, who named him a Rising Star, and he has also been named to Business Insider’s list of 15 Enterprise Tech Rock Stars. Alex lends his entrepreneurial expertise as an advisor to companies including Get Around, ZenPayroll, Stitch Labs, True Ventures, Social Leverage, Bullpen and others. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Stony Brook University.
