UNIDO ITPO ITALY HA PARTECIPATO ALLO STARTUPBOOTCAMP DEMO DAY 2018
Roma, 25 Gennaio 2018 - In linea con il grande impegno e le numerose attività svolte dall'ufficio sul nesso innovation-youth-agribusiness, UNIDO ITPO Italy ha partecipato al Demo Day 2018, giornata nata da un percorso di scouting di startup e selezione durato circa un anno guidato da StartupBootCamp FoodTech, un programma di accelerazione globale e indipendente ed anche l’unico nel suo genere ad attirare ampio sostegno nel settore.
Oltre 250 presentazioni illustrate ad investitori internazionali, dirigenti, esperti e mentor selezionati, tra cui UNIDO ITPO Italy.
In occasione del Demo Day, le otto startup foodtech che hanno completato con successo il secondo ciclo di accelerazione dello SBC FoodTech hanno avuto l'opportunità di presentare le loro idee innovative in diversi settori, dall'agricoltura di precisione agli alimenti del futuro, dall'acquaponica alle fonti di proteine sostenibili, dalla lotta allo spreco di cibo al miglioramento dell'agricoltura su piccola scala.
UNIDO ITPO ITALY PARTICIPATED TO THE STARTUPBOOTCAMP DEMO DAY 2018
Rome, 25 January 2018 - In the framework of the big commitment and numerous activities carried out by the office on the nexus innovation-youth-agribusiness, UNIDO ITPO Italy participated to the Demo Day 2018, the culmination of an almost yearlong program of scouting and selection managed by StartupBootCamp FoodTech, a global and independent accelerator program and the only one of its kind to attract industry-wide support.
Over 250 pitches have been presented to international investors, executives, experts, and selected mentors, including UNIDO ITPO Italy.
In occasion of the Demo Day, the 8 foodtech startups that have successfully completed the SBC FoodTech second acceleration cycle had the opportunity to present their disruptive innovations on several sectors, from precision agriculture to innovative foods, from aquaponics to sustainable protein sources, from fighting food waste to improving small-scale farming.
