Missione a Shanghai
Shanghai, 30 Novembre - 6 Dicembre 2017 - UNIDO ITPO Italy ha supportato una Delegazione del Friuli Venezia Giulia durante una visita economica e istituzionale a Shangai, nel quadro del progetto "SMEs 4 Business Development China & Cuba". In particolare, in linea con la Dichiarazione Congiunta firmata nel maggio 2015 dal Friuli Venezia Giulia e l’Ufficio, la missione ha avuto lo scopo di favorire la cooperazione tra la Regione e la Cina attraverso la promozione e il trasferimento di tecnologie innovative, nonché di incoraggiare la creazione di partnership tra PMI, clusters regionali e compagnie cinesi. Più precisamente, le due parti hanno espresso il reciproco interesse a sviluppare partenariati e sinergie nei seguenti settori: operazioni portuali, logistica e gestione della catena di fornitura marittima, smart city, innovazione e ricerca, innovazione industria e design, biomedicina e salute.
Al fine di conseguire tali ambiziosi obiettivi, UNIDO ITPO Italy ha organizzato il FORUM Shanghai-FVG Economic and Trade Cooperation, in collaborazione con Invest Shanghai, UNIDO ITPO Shanghai e il Consolato Generale Italiano a Shangai, e ha facilitato numerosi incontri bilaterali tra le autorità friulane e le controparti cinese.
Durante il Forum, ha avuto particolare rilievo la partecipazione di Zhong Xiaomin, vice Capo della Commissione Municipale di Shangai per il Commercio, Debora Serracchiani, Presidente della Regione, Stefano Beltrame, Console Generale Italiano a Shangai, nonché di circa 100 rappresentanti governativi e di aziende. Al termine del Forum, Zhong e Serracchiani hanno firmato un Memorandum d’Intesa al fine di approfondire ulteriormente le relazioni economiche e commerciali ed allo stesso tempo, esplorare nuove opportunità di cooperazione. Con l’obiettivo di facilitare l’implementazione di tale Memorandum, le Parti hanno concordato di stabilire una stretta collaborazione con UNIDO ITPO Italy e UNIDO ITPO Shanghai.
In seguito al Forum, è stato tenuto un evento per favorire la creazione di contatti al fine di trovare soluzioni concrete alle sfide che attualmente riguardano le aree urbane. In particolare, le due Parti hanno evidenziato l’opportunità di condividere le migliori pratiche per uno sviluppo industriale-urbano integrato, facilitare il trasferimento di conoscenza e l’organizzazione di incontri a livello cittadino, avanzare progetti di costruzione di capacità, favorendo il dialogo città-città, città-imprese e la cooperazione impresa-impresa.
Alla luce delle attività svolte e dei risultati ottenuti, è possibile sottolineare come la missione abbia rappresentato un passo importante verso il rafforzamento della cooperazione bilaterale e, in una prospettiva a lungo termine, verso il raggiungimento di una crescita economica sostenuta e di uno sviluppo sostenibile e inclusivo.
MISSION TO SHANGHAI
Shanghai, 30th November - 6th December 2017 - UNIDO ITPO Italy supported a Delegation from Friuli Venezia Giulia during an institutional and entrepreneurial visit to Shanghai, within the framework of the project "SMEs 4 Business Development China & Cuba". In particular, in accordance with the Joint Declaration signed in May 2015 by Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and our Office, the mission was aimed at enhancing cooperation between FVG region and China, by promoting the transfer of innovative technologies and encouraging the creation of partnerships between SMEs, regional clusters and Chinese companies. More specifically, the two sides expressed a concrete interest in fostering partnerships and developing synergies in the following sectors: port operations, logistic and marine supply chain management, smart city, innovation and research, innovation industry and design, biomedicine and health care.
In order to achieve such ambitious goals, UNIDO ITPO Italy organized the Shanghai-FVG Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum in collaboration with Invest Shanghai, UNIDO ITPO Shanghai and the Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai, and facilitated bilateral meetings between the FVG entities and the Chinese counterparts.
During the Forum it is worth noting the participation of Ms. Zhong Xiaomin, Vice Chairwoman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Ms. Debora Serracchiani, President of FVG and Mr. Stefano Beltrame, Consul General of Italy in Shanghai, as well as nearly 100 governmental and business representatives. At the end of the Forum Zhong and Serracchiani signed a Memorandum of Understanding to further deepen economic and trade relations and explore new cooperation opportunities. With the aim to facilitate the implementation of this MOU, the Parties agreed on establishing close cooperation with UNIDO ITPO Italy and UNIDO ITPO Shanghai.
After the Forum a networking event was held to find solutions to address current challenges in urban areas. In particular, the two parts underlined the opportunity to share best practices for integrated urban-industrial development, facilitate knowledge transfer and city-level matchmaking, advance capacity-building and encourage dialogue for city-to-city, city-to-business and business-to-business cooperation.
In the light of the activities undertaken and achievements obtained, the mission represented a very promising step forward to strengthen bilateral cooperation and ultimately foster sustained economic growth and inclusive and sustainable development.
