Where is our food produced? And how is it distributed around our world? In Food for Thought, photographer and filmmaker Kadir van Lohuizen follows the entire process in Kenya, the USA, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, China and the Netherlands, his home country, and he investigates the impact our food consumption has on the environment, public health and economy. The questions that van Lohuzien has in mind are simple: what are we doing to build more resilient food systems that can adapt to a changing environment? Where will the next decade lead us?
