Questo progetto rappresenta un’elaborazione poetica e visiva sulla tradizione di riunirsi per gustare il cibo. L’incontro a tavola, per le diverse occasioni, è una parte importante della cultura. Non c’è posto per i conflitti quando si mangia insieme. In tale contesto, le fotografie degli avanzi sono la prova che qualcosa di positivo sta accadendo, l’artefatto del passato e la speranza per il futuro. Eppure c’è la consapevolezza che il tempo non è infinito, come dimostrano le stoviglie e i resti di cibo, che sembrano dare vita a un paesaggio in rovina. Attraverso la cura e la convivialità può sorgere una speranza per il prossimo pasto, che ci porterà a condividere la vita.

ENGLISH VERSION
This project is a poetic and visual take on the tradition of gathering together to enjoy food. Gathering together at the table for different occasions is a huge part of culture. There is no place for conflict while eating together. The photographs of leftovers in this context become the evidence of something positive happening, the artifact of the past and hope for the future. Yet there is a notion of time not being endless, illustrated by the tableware and remains looking like a ruined landscape. Through care and togetherness there might be a hope for the next meal bringing us to share life.
