ITPO Italy presents to Italian companies its activities in the framework of UNIDO's project in Iraq
UNIDO ITPO Italy organizes the launch event of the project “Investment Promotion for Iraq – Phase II” taking place on Wednesday 3 March at 10:00 (CET). The event is addressed to the Italian business community and aimed at presenting the activities of UNIDO ITPO Italy in the framework of the project funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) and implemented by UNIDO.
In line with the goal of the project - promoting opportunities for business and investment in Iraq for a sustainable economic growth in the country, this event will be focused on illustrating the activities implemented by ITPO Italy in order to provide support and capacity building services to Iraqi private-sector enteprises and associations through international partnerships and institutional networks.
The panel will see the interventions of several representatives of prominent international organizations and institutions from both Iraq and Italy: Ms. Diana Battaggia, Head of UNIDO ITPO Italy, and Fabio Russo, UNIDO project coordinator; Bruno Antonio Pasquino, Ambassador at the Embassy of Italy in Iraq and Safia Taleb Al Souhail, Ambassador at the Embassy of Iraq in Italy; Michele Morana, Head of the AICS office in Amman; Filippo Covino, Head of the Italian Trade Agency in Amman; and Andrea Carapellese, Investment Promotion Expert of UNIDO ITPO Italy.
The discussion will be held in italian and will feature a dedicated Q&A session, allowing participants to ask questions and further the debate on specific topics of interest.
