First important goal reached: Assolombarda has entered

 

Milan June 30th, 2015 - The advisory board of the Association, elected by the Assembly, today approved the election of Marco Bicocchi Pichi as new President of Italia Startup, and Antonio Perdichizzi as Vice President, who, together with the renewed advisory board, will be on charge in the Association for the three-year period 2015-2018.

During the assembly ha salso been approved the entrance of Assolombarda which could play a fundamental role in the interaction between startups and companies, in the way of open innovation. The 30 advisors have been confirmed after previous nomination and will also be on charge for three years, the second cycle for the Association which was created in 2012.

“I’m very happy to guide Italia Startup in the scale-up phase following the startup which started in May 2012 – says Marco Picocchi Pichi, new President of Italia Startup. “Since its constitution, we have worked to create a an ecosystem and gather the strenghts of those who actively desire to spread the passion for enterpreunership. We need to work to grow and become an association powerful enough to be incisive in determining the factor which make our companies able to develop, considering that our objective is making the big companies innovative, and to help the innovative companies to grow big.”

The aim to grow enough to make an impact in the ecosystem has found immediate result in the entrance of Assolombarda in the Association. “Being part of Italia Startup is coherent with our will to support startups on the territory on their activity toward internationalization, and networking with new and enstablished companies. Last yeat we launched the project “Startup Town” with the aim to support the creation of new startups, which rapresent a source for skills and innovation. The project was one of the 50 being created in the strategic plan “Far volare Milano”, that has the goal to make small companies closer to the established Italian entrepreneural eco system”.
