UNIDO ITPO Italy and Ozolea support a Pakistani delegation tour on livestock and dairy sectors
A Pakistani delegation has been involved in one-week study tour around Italy from June 17th to 21st with the purpose of transferring Italian best practices about livestock and husbandry management sectors, as well as to identify potential Italian partners willing to invest in Pakistan.
The mission has been organized in the framework of the long cooperation between UNIDO ITPO Italy and Pakistan, in collaboration with Ozolea Rete di Imprese, an Italian company committed in antibiotic resistance and biosafety of food chains, placed in Castegnato.
The study tour agenda was rich of fruitful site visits and meetings with Italian entrepreneurs, research centers and institutions and it ended with a successful seminar held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Rome, focused on the opportunities in livestock and dairy industry in Pakistan, presented by key speakers strongly relevant to such industry.
UNIDO ITPO Italy played a strategic role in facilitating and coordinating meetings and site visits among Italian stakeholders and companies all having state-of-the art technologies and solutions applicable in an emerging market like Pakistan.
UNIDO ITPO Italy and Italian stakeholders (like Ozolea Rete di Imprese) will keep on planning new activities and initiatives aimed at strengthening the cooperation between Italy and Pakistan in livestock and dairy sectors by the organization of new seminars, incoming and outgoing delegations.
