International Film Schools Restart From Online: the Innovative Technological Platform WYTH Welcomes Students into its Virtual Classrooms

EAVE (Luxembourg), Midpoint Institute (Czech Republic) and ACE Producers (Holland), among the most important Business Schools of the film industry, have moved their teaching activities into a hybrid environment that exploits the potential of digital to enhance human interaction.

Lugano, June 8th 2021 - Art, cinema and entertainment are among the sectors that are suffering the most from the crisis resulting from the health emergency and that are implementing increasingly digital or hybrid forms of entertainment. Also "behind the scenes" there is a continuous effort to enhance digital in a sector that has always lived in the physical world: this is why EAVE, Midpoint Institute and ACE Producers, all important international film schools, have decided to rely on WYTH to move their courses into a unique and interactive hybrid context.

WYTH, an innovative platform that allows you to create hybrid places and ensure user interactions through a highly intuitive and highly technological digital environment, and which has already hosted the Visions du Réel Swiss Film Festival, has opened the doors of its virtual classrooms and its “cafes”, to host hundreds of students and professionals from the sector of international film schools: EAVE (Luxembourg), Midpoint Institute (Czech Republic) and ACE Producers (Netherlands).

These are not just lectures, but real campuses that guarantee the relationship between professors and students by activating and stimulating continuous networking activity. The lessons, planned with the internal agenda of the system, take place with WYTH Meetings or with third-party systems that can be integrated, while the participants are living an experience of continuous comparison thanks to the WYTH Plaza and the WYTH Connect

WYTH also offers teachers and students the opportunity to interact with video and audio while sharing their screen, for an interactive way of teaching. The WYTH Connect platform also offers collaborative tools such as video chats and single or group text chats, which allow students to continue the conversation and share links, documents and images, even after the end of lessons or workshops. The WYTH Plaza, WYTH's virtual "café", becomes the area where you can get to know each other and discuss and activate new relationships with industry professionals from all over the world, through group or individual exchanges.

"WYTH was born with the aim of helping organizations, schools and event organizers to build exclusive and personalized hybrid locations, spaces in which importance is still given to human relationship and interaction while also exploiting the capabilities of digital", says Samuele Franzini, CEO and Founder of WYTH

In addition, schools have the ability to completely customize the hybrid space: within the dedicated and customized pages you can find real multimedia libraries, in order to access the content you want at any time. This service offers organizers the perception of being in a dimension that is close to the physical one, albeit in a totally digital context: one of the most important aspects for higher education institutions in this sector.

"We are happy that international film schools such as EAVE, Midpoint Institute and ACE Producers have chosen to use WYTH as an educational platform and to embrace digital, in the hope that the sector will continue on this path and that it can train young professionals while always guaranteeing high quality”, concludes Samuele Franzini.

WYTH was created to help companies, festivals, museums, schools and event organizers to build exclusive and customized hybrid locations in which physical and digital converge. It is a suite of digital products founded in 2020 by Amigdala, the award-winning experience design studio, which allows you to create a space that facilitates human relationships, networking activities and the creation of communities, combining the potential of digital with the emotion of physical experience. It is a customizable, flexible and complete product, in which all services converge in a single environment built with digital architectures, from the simplest to the most complex, which guarantee scalability and security at the same time. The challenge that arises is to accompany the entire sector of events, art, culture and education in the hybrid age that is increasingly transforming every aspect of our professional and personal lives.
