UNIDO ITPO Italy will host a virtual delegate to promote investment opportunities in the renewable energies and environmental technologies in Ethiopia
From 30 November to 14 December 2020, Ms. Haregewoin Mirotaw Shumiye – a representative of the Ethiopian Investment Commission – will take part in UNIDO ITPO Italy’s Virtual Delegate Programme, with the goal of promoting to the Italian entrepreneurial community several projects and investment opportunities in the field of renewable energies and environmental technologies.
The initiative is open to Italian companies operating in the following sectors: renewable energies and off-gird solutions; paper processing and related products; sustainable management of water resources; and renewable energies and environmental solutions for the dairy sector.
Participants will have the opportunity to present their business and discuss opportunities for potential partnerships with Ethiopian counterparts represented by the Virtual Delegate, fostering technological innovation and sustainable development in the local industry.
The initiative is part of the project “Fostering international partnerships between companies and/or institutions operating in the energy and environment sectors”, funded by the Italian Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea and implemented by UNIDO ITPO Italy.
