Gabriele Tazzari graduated in electronic engineering from the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna and began his professional career as Area Manager at Nexus. In 2000, he joined YOOX S.p.A. in the role of Chief Technology Officer.
Gabriele grew the tech team from 0 to 100+ people, setting the baseline of the global e-commerce platform covering Europe, US, Japan and China.
In 2011 was appointed Governance and Innovation Director, working on software performance, scalability, automation and governance models to support fast paced growing software applications and infrastructures.
Since  2015 Gabriele is the Research & Development Director of the Group, working on product strategy and innovation. Among the different activities R&D is focusing on product design and personalization, in-store and mobile apps, rapid prototyping techniques and technology organization.
