Ray O’Farrell is the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Development Officer at VMware reporting to the CEO. Prior to his current role, Ray co-led the Software-Defined Data Center Division comprising the vSphere, networking, management and storage businesses and was responsible for the division’s strategy, business and product planning and engineering execution. He also works with R&D and business unit leaders across the organization to ensure VMware delivers a cohesive and consistent set of product capabilities to its customers.
