11 Italian companies supported by UNIDO ITPO Italy at the International Beirut Energy Forum 2019
In the framework of the project funded by the Italian Ministry of Environment, Land and Sea (IMELS), UNIDO ITPO Italy supported a delegation of 11 Italian companies operating in renewable energy, engineering and energy infrastructures, to the International Beirut Energy Forum which took place at the Royal Hotel – Dbayeh from September 25th to 27th.
“Future of Life in a Time of Planetary Changes" has been the focus of the 10th Edition of the IBEF, which aimed at facilitating partnerships, cooperation initiatives, regional and international collaborations in the sustainable energy sector.
Within the 3-day forum, the Italian companies had the opportunity to get around 150 BtoB with Lebanese ones to discuss about potential partnerships in the above mentioned sectors. After the BtoB session, the Italian enterprises met with the Lebanese office of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, to explore new projects and programmes implemented by the Agency.
On September 26th, the Italian Trade Agency in Beirut and UNIDO ITPO Italy organized a conference “Case studies on Italian technologies and solutions in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sector”, during which Italian companies illustrated their technologies and solutions for energy sector in Lebanon.
Moreover, an institutional booth funded by Italian Trade Agency and UNIDO ITPO Italy has been arranged for Italian companies, who had the opportunity to exhibit their catalogs to the Lebanese audience.
The event is turned out a strategic showcase for Italian companies and a successful chance to meet with Lebanese companies and implement new partnerships in RE&EE sectors of Lebanon.
