On next November 9th we are going to host Matteo Concas, General Manager Italy of N26 Bank. He is going to tell us the story of a startup, 4 years old, now a recognigned international player in the bank sector. A successful case of growth and internationalization to understand best practices and lessons learned.

N26 is Europe’s first Mobile Bank with a full European banking license. Users receive a Mastercard to pay cashless or withdraw cash all around the world. N26 doesn't have monthly costs and allows bank transfers + withdrawal with no commissions in eurozone. Opening a new bank account takes only 8 minutes and can be done directly from your smartphone. Within the end of the year, N26 will also be compatible with Apple Pay in Italy.

N26 was founded in early 2013 by Valentin Stalf and Maximilian Tayenthal and has acquired more than 500.000 clients so far in 17 European countries. It employs 290 people. N26 has raised more than $55 million from investors including Li Ka-Shing’s Horizons Ventures, Battery Ventures and Valar Ventures, in addition to members of the Zalando management board, Earlybird Venture Capital and Redalpine Ventures. N26 is available for Android, iOS, and desktop.
