Since 2015 Head of the Department of Engineering, University of Ferrara, prof. Roberto Tovo is Full Professor of Machine Design from 2011.
In the University of Ferrara he has held the positions of Chairman of the Research Council, member of the Academic Senate and member of the Board of Administration.
He holds the courses of Machine Design and Product Design. His research activity is in the field of Mechanical Structural Integrity with hundreds of international scientific contributions. He also was the creator and director of a post graduate Master course called "Welding Engineer".
